Film Forum & screening of 'IF'

Seminar to follow the film. Topic: "How to make a feature film on $10.00 dollars an hour" Event Format: Overview followed by Q & A Panelists: Lisa Stoll (Producer/Director/Cinematographer) an award winning filmmaker. Stoll has 10 years experience as an independent filmmaker. Stoll has served as Director of Photography on numerous feature films, shorts, documentaries, and music videos. Her work has won international awards at numerous film festivals. Stoll has collaborated with Darren Aronofsky ( Pi, Requiem for a Dream), Kevin Rubio (Troops ) and other up and coming directors. Other Panelists: Cast and Crew from the feature film "IF" This seminar is geared towards filmmakers that don1t have investors. So you work a day job making ten dollars an hour and you want to make your first feature film.

This "mockumentary" chronicles the ups and downs of two hack filmmakers that set off to make the granddaddy B-movie of them all, 'Farmhouse Massacre'. This movie documents, through interviews with the Director and Producer, the complexities associated with creating their masterpiece.

Heart of the Sea: Kapolioka'ehukai Directed by Charlotte Lagarde and Lisa Denker Produced by: Charlotte Lagarde 57 min Heart of the Sea is an hour-long documentary about Hawaiian legend Rell "Kapolioka'ehukai" Sunn who died in January 1998 of breast cancer at the age of 47. Known worldwide as a pioneer of woman's professional surfing, in the Islands Rell Sunn achieved the stature of an icon- not only for her physical power, grace and luminous beauty, but for her leadership in a community that loved her as much as she loved it.
