    READER INQUIRES ABOUT MOUSE SURPLUS

    Hi there
I'm going to be vacationing in Disney world, and came across your site and the Salvageland article.......they talked at the end if "I'm in the area to visit their warehouse showroom". Can you tell me does it still exist?? Please let me know.....I would love to visit it.

Its on Pine Avenue in Orlando...but you probably already knew that.

Please let me know....I would love to spend my money there!

    Thanks for your time,
    Tark McClusky

Tark, thanks so much for writing! I am reassured by ED Tucker's year-end piece this issue that Brian Ramsey's Mouse Surplus is definitely open for business! As stated in the original "Salvageland" article it's located at 1475 Pine Avenue in Orlando, Florida. Tell 'em Cap'n ED and first mate Nolan sent ya! ---Nolan

    READER HAS GCC THEME!

    Nolan,
I noticed that you like the old General Cinema Corporation harpsichord theme. You can hear it on my site in its original form:

Mike, thanks so much for writing, that's one of the coolest things anyone has ever sent me and it's so simple, too! Readers, if you really want a time-warp to the simpler days of GCC and recall that opening that preceded the main feature, do yourself a favor and download this chestnut. I can almost smell the popcorn from here. ---Nolan
