Update on NolanCon
Brain Robbers From Outer Space

I spent all Wednesday afternoon staring at the unforgiving eye of my computer monitor, knowing PCR fans everywhere were chomping at the bits for the latest and greatest, when, finally some help came in from the other PCR writers! Fortunately, by the time Thursday afternoon came around, four of the regular columns were in. By Thursday night, Creature's Corner arrived. Unfortunately, looks like no Splash Page this week as Brandon is under the gun, work-wise. It's very unusual for me to "debut" a PCR issue all by myself. If it's happened before, I sure don't remember it. I'm still a little bit under the weather, but improving. (Wasn't "the flu" like I thought, more of a nasty sinus infection.) Plus I had to work at the hell-pit Tuesday night which cut out my PCR prep-work time.

And this is at a time of great excitement as well, what with NolanCon churning up fan waters.

NolanCon is shaping up to be a pretty major event, and I'm amazed at the reactions and feedback I've gotten so far! I am working feverishly to finish the first event flyer. In fact, it's taken temporary precedence over the NolanCon website (the above small graphic hints at the logo for that). I realize there are genre conventions around the corner that we can put flyers at and I definitely want to be represented there (including other states). I completed a flyer earlier in the week, but it sucked (too text-heavy) and am making a revised one ASAP. It should be available for download-and-printout by the end of the week.

The guest list is still being built as more special people are being contacted and we wheel and deal arrangements, but it looks very encouraging that we'll have some pretty heavy-hitters. Again, I should know something more about that toward week's end.

Brain Robbers From Outer Space
I am in the process of watching the 3½ hour tour-de-force that is "Brain Robbers From Outer Space" in-between non-stop phone calls, NolanCon, website business, and the hell-pit's screwy schedule. I will continue until I have the film all digested at which time I'll give my full review, likely sometime over the weekend.

I apologize to the cast and crew for the delay, I've rarely been besieged by all sides like I am right now.
