READER SEEKS OLD DR. PAUL BEARER EPISODES
Part 1:
Nolan,
Hi:
Do you know where I can get copies (or if they even exist) of the old
Creature Feature from WTOG in St. Pete? I contacted the station and
they said they did not have an archives storage. I found your address
surfing the web.
Thanks!

Dear Erin,
Hello, and thanks so much for writing!
You're email is representative of literally hundreds I get addressing
the availability of old Creature Feature episodes. As you discovered, WTOG
did NOT archive any of them. When they changed hands in the late '90s to the
UPN Network, even more things were tossed out from storage.
However...eBay has proven to be the best resource for buying old
episodes from collectors.
Sometime over the last two years, PCR special feature writer ED Tucker researched the most known extant episodes
of "Creature Feature, starring your ghost, Dr. Paul Bearer".
The results are here: http://www.crazedfanboy.com/creaturefeature/existing_eps.html
Hope that helps!

Part 2:
Nolan,
Thanks for getting back to me. It's such a shame that a video
collection does not exist to honor this man. It is a great childhood
memory of mine as well. My mother met him a few times as a sorority
member of Beta Sigma Phi in St.Pete when I was a kid, and I'm sorry to
say that he was too scary for me to meet and now I regret it. My family
used to get all our chores done early Saturday mornings so we could
hunker down in front of the TV for snacks and an afternoon of Creature
Feature. Now in my 40s, I wish we had taped the shows too, but who knew.
I appreciate your website and efforts! Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Erin
