REVIEW
I'll be honest, I have a positive bias towards horror films from the 70's-80's. If Blood Diner had been made in the last two decades I probably would have found this movie nearly unwatchable. Everything about this movie carries that late 80's horror-comedy charm that made the era so enjoyable.

Blood Diner revolves around two cannibalistic brothers on a mission to resurrect an Egyptian goddess of some sort for whatever reason. I was to busy laughing at bad props to really pay attention to the plot. From what I could tell, the brothers along with their dead uncle who's living brain now lives in a jar go around killing women to cook in their diner as some kind of ritual. Who Knows?

Something I noticed about this film is that no matter what is taking place there is never a scene that goes to waste. Visually there is always something going on to keep the viewer stimulated. The music is tacky as all hell and the characters even when annoying can make you crack a smile. My favorite is an obese man that frequents the diner, knows everything about everything and calls wrestling gay.

For horror fans there is plenty to like. This isn't exactly a hardcore film, but those looking for gore, foul language and tits won't be disappointed. The best scene comes in the films finale in a nightclub packed with zombies. Even though the props and make up are of joke store quality they serve their purpose nicely.

All in all Blood Diner is a worthy watch and one of the better horror comedies I have seen.
