Sitting in the real devil's chair is Susan Thompson, Florida's Golden Goddess of Ghosts, and Diana McCreight co-host and staunch believer of anything. In the orange ghost-busters suit is Owen Sliter, skeptical host and director. The Master of the Weird is standing, the others are extras who are in the film.
SOME THINGS ARE BEST LEFT ALONE..... in this case it should be the cast. | |
Filming of a new paranormal DVD has wrapped-up in Central Florida. The fright documentary, titled, The Hunt for the Devil, explores the mystery of an alleged portal to Hell, the infamous Devil's Chair. It is the first of several DVD mini-documentaries planned by Spookhunters.com and contains re-enactments as it takes you on a spooky adventure spiced with humor that will not only scare the pants off you, but will leave you wondering "is the Devil's Chair legend" real or not.....?"
The DVD was shot on location in Central Florida and contains testimonials by several well-known mediums of Cassadaga, Florida. More than a dozen film and sound technicians were used in the production along with a cast including producer Owen Sliter and Diana McCreight as hosts, Charlie Carlson, Florida's Master of the Weird, and Susan Thompson, Florida's most publicized medium. More information about the Devil's Chair can be found in the book "Weird Florida," or on www.weird-florida.com, or on Florida's leading paranormal investigative webpage spookhunters.com. Of course, as emphasized in this eerie documentary, "Some of these things are best left alone!!"
