Will,
Just a quick note to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your article
"A Tale of Two Cities," which I found online as I was sentimentally prowling
for remembrances of my mother, Lucy O'Brien.
Your postcard, which you mentioned buying at the Red Horse, made me smile.
It's nice to know others remember her extraordinary force and love for Florida
history.
Thanks.

WILLIAM MORIATY RESPONDS:
It is honor to hear from you!
Your mother is a story in and of itself! How priviliged and Blessed that I was to have known such a wonderful, colorful and gracious lady. I'll bet few readers know that she worked as a writer for the Tampa Tribune and I believe was one of, if not the first, woman to be a journalist for that publication.
I will be forwarding your note to our PCR letters column.
Thanks so much again for reading our publication and taking the time to write.
