Debralee Scott Dies at 52
Horror fans may remember actress Debralee Scott, who played "Sandy" in the hilarious 1982 horror spoof "Pandemonium" (aka "Thursday the 12th"), which is still shown regularly on cable TV.

Scott was 52 and died of natural causes.

For those fans of the '70s (like me), you may be interested to know Scott also appeared in "Welcome Back, Kotter", "Isis", "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", "American Graffiti", and was even a guest panelist on my favorite game show, "The Match Game".

"Zombiethon" (1986)
Just got done viewing the fun 1986 compilation on VHS. It's actually the perfect video for those who want to FF past the talk and get right to the gut-munching and nudity - which "Zombiethon" features ample amounts of!

ZT features choice clips from Fulci's "Zombie" (shark x zombie fight, eye gouging, NY harbor scene, + more), "The Invisible Dead" (a man in a gorilla suit), "A Virgin Among the Living Dead", "Zombie Lake" (featuring the great underwater shots of nude female swimmers - shot directly below them, if you know what I mean), "Oasis of the Zombies", "Fear", and even Ted V. Mikel's "The Astro Zombies". Each clip is chock full of blood 'n bush. Rarely does Wizard Video disappoint.

The anchor "story", directed by Ken Dixon, was specially shot for this compilation and features lovely ladies pursued by various zombies. Eventually, each girl runs into the decrepit El Ray movie theater, where a bunch of zombies are sitting inside, watching cool '50s/'60s intermission/spook show clips. This segment immediately reminded me of "The Monster Club" or another (inferior) 1986 compilation "Filmhouse Fever" (starring a young Steve Buscemi). There's even a scene where a little girl, taken into the zombie-filled theater by her mother, throws popcorn at the harmless flesheaters.

I don't think this is available on DVD (yet), but if you still have this in your old VHS collection, it may be worth dusting off and taking for a spin.
