New England Patriots In London Vs. The Bucs It's the Yankees Vs. The Phillies
Happy 500th!!!!!
Hey Nolan if I didn't say it at work to you, congratulations to you and every one that has been with you over the years in this venture! You've done this for 10 years and stuck with it!
Well, if I was British I would resent the idea of something called the New England Patriots come into my city, but most Londoners would be cheering for the Patriots just because they have the word England in their team name. Plus they probably only heard of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003 when they won the Super Bowl. So the Bucs and the Patriots will enjoy the pregame festivities in London and all of the touring and what not, but the Patriots will be the ones that'll enjoy it more. If you picked up a Tampa Tribune on Thursday, you got to read Martin Fennelly's column in the sports section, it'll have you rolling! Getting back to the actual game, the Patriots just whipped the Titans last week 59-0, the Titans went 13-0 last year before losing their first game and the Patriots put it on them, and had the biggest lopsided victory since 1970. The Buccaneers just lost to the frikin Panthers last week. You do the math and tell me who you think is going to win this one. Go Bucs, 0-7. Where are the paper bags?
As I'm writing this, the Yankees currently hold a 3-1 lead in the ALCS against the Angels. They have pretty much have gotten there and will face the team that controversially beat the Tampa Bay Rays last year in the World Series, the Philadelphia Phillies. Everybody wanted a Dodgers-Yankees Series but were going to get a Philly-New York one. This ought to be a good one though, the Phillies are going to have to defend their crown against a fierce Yankees roster.
