It's what I should've done last year. In fact, I did start it in 2009, but didn't complete it in time for 2010.

A completely new approach to the tried-and-true system that's brought us this far. To blog-i-fy Nolan's Pop Culture Review and finally abandon the weekly e-zine format I've supported for ten years. The website was basically stopped for the first two weeks of this year while I finalized the new codes.

It wasn't an easy decision to make, believe me, and I spent countless hours researching this. I developed the e-zine format relentlessly with great success in the early part of this...er...century, and received accolades of which I'm very proud. But over the past five years, the growing competition from Facebook, Blogger, and WordPress-type websites rendered my traditional approach a dying breed, and I had to upgrade or get left behind.

It will also be a benefit to the special writers who've worked under weekly deadlines over the past ten years. That will be more flexible, with the option to post more often if they wish.

So, here we are. A new style for CrazedFanboy.com and the PCR (aka, Nolan's Pop Culture Review). Not only that, but I'm finally taking a crack at syndication, too--I can't let everyone else in the blogosphere have all the fun!
