Many of you may recall in a recent Rail that I declared the WorldCon was coming to Kansas City, and espoused on how dangerous a Mike and Matt reunion could be to the unwitting people of Missouri...not to mention an all out assault that would include Nolan B. Canova, and possibly bring upon the ruin of all of us. As Mike stated last week, this was incorrect...well, sort of. The World Con is in fact coming to Kansas City....only its full name is the 13th ANNUAL WORLD HORROR CON. The big tadoo about this, of course, is that Forry Ackerman is scheduled to attend. It is being held April 17-20, 2003 at the Hilton Kansas City Airport, Kansas City, MO. The official site for this event is World Horror Convention 2003. Check it out!! Now, as for as the WORLD CON IN BOSTON goes.....for my friends who'd like to come out and attend, there's plenty of room at my house.....for a fee! huh, huh, huh, huh, huh TOP 10 COVER SONGS....AGAIN!!! Also, don't see how both Mike and I forgot the Rickster....but Rick Springfield's "I've done everything for you" just flat out rocks. This was written and previously recorded by Sammy Hagar, who admits Springfield's version is much more fun. In fact, his WORKING CLASS DOG CD is nothing 'but' fun.
Fortunately, no one has done a cover of the Banana Splits Theme Song so I feel pretty comfortable I can leave it at that....at least for now!! (Woops! Somebody did do that cover, it's on a Saturday Morning Cartoon theme-covers album I have, but I can't find it at the moment. Indeed, The 'Splits are represented!---N)
All together now..."1 banana, 2 banana, 3 banana, 4, 4 bananas make a bunch and so do many more, over hill and highway the banana bunches go, bringing you today the banana splits show...tra,la,la,la,la,la,la"...eh...pardon me, lost myself for a second.
Till next week, may God bless, |
