LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN: FORRY WINS AGAIN!!!!! That's right, Forry fans. It appears that truth does still live in the Courts of California. I was starting to wonder what with OJ and all, and then Ferry's appeal being allowed to proceed. But alas, it is our beloved Uncle Ack who is singing the happy song of victory, and Ray Ferry and his arrogance, who is singing the sad song of losing as only a real loser can.
After all of Ferry's bravado and character assasination of Forry, and claims that Ack's win was fraudulent, he is left with nothing but the thought that he now must pay up for his treachery and deceit. Well....if he was a good loser, he would. But on the Filmland Classics site, it states he's taking it to the Supreme Court. It's almost comical to follow his misadventures as he continues this ridiculous attempt at justifying his incredibly stupid behavior. I can't think of anything else to call it. Only incredibly stupid behavior could land someone in a situation where they have to pony up close to 800 thousand dollars.
Certainly the financial sting can't possibly be as cruel and cutting to Ray as the FACT that Forry, yet again, has taken him to the woodshed and spanked him like a red-headed step-child.
For Forry, we can all rejoice and, like a dog rubbing his back on a beautiful green lawn, wallow in our happiness. We can proclaim that truth, and justice reign supreme yet again. And that there is only one, true Dr. Acula. And his name is Forrest J Ackerman.
Congrats Forry.....you da man.
ON A MORE SOMBER NOTE......HOMELAND FRAUD Right now, in Congress, Bush is trying to pass a bill which he says will aid homeland security. The bill, when passed, will be the end of Civil Liberties and Freedom in America. The bill states, specifically, that every American citizen will be entered into one major database, which will track every email, web site visited, phone conversation, doctor visit, prescription given, and all purchases made. We're not talking about an idea some ridiculous anti-American is kicking around. The bill will be passed tomorrow as the majority of Congress push it through.
What's that, you say? You've heard nothing of this? Well, of course you haven't. You watch TV news. If you really want to know what these madmen are doing, watch CSPAN like I do, and you can watch it unfold before your eyes. And then your life will be miserable, like mine is, knowing that for all intents and purposes, America as we know it is about to die.
Once this bill passes, probably tomorrow (or soon), the debate will begin on the best method to track everybody. The only way that they are going to be able to track every single American is to have us coded. They already have the technology. The medical profession announced just last year that they are implanting, beneath the skin on the hand, all medical information of patients. It's a voluntary procedure as of this moment.
There's been no talk, publicly, of this even being considered as an option to track us, but I shudder to think of that part of Biblical prophesy being played out in my time. The obvious senario will be them saying that, hey, we have the ability to do it with the medical profession, why not roll it out full scale?! Give everyone a number, implant it permanently in their hand, and they can just wave it under infra-red and make their purchase. We do it with tolls. Pass our Visa card thru the slot at check-out, at the gas pump for convenience. That'll be the great thing about it. Convenience. Most will accept it, like lambs to the slaughter follow the holder of the axe.
The real kicker in all this is that the bill does NOTHING to protect us from anybody or anything. It is solely for the governments right to invade our privacy and kill our liberties and freedoms. It's downright communistic and shamefull. Congress DID present Bush with a Bill that would have dedicated millions to shoring up our pathetic national security but he said "no" and veto'd it.
For some time I was hoping the end of the true America that I love was on the distant horizan. But it's not. It's here. It's happening now. And there's nothing you, or I, can do about it. Hard to swallow, I know. But you can't deny it, because it's real, it's here, and it's now.
Till next time, |
