LOTTERY "LOSERS"
Let me tell you a story of some real lottery losers. And I'm not just referring to a non-winning ticket!

Many of you probably recall hearing of the BIG GAME lottery which just paid out 331 million dollars to 3 lucky ticket holders. What you may not know is that this is one of the truest examples of greed we could ever see. Oh sure, there's greed all over the place, you don't have to look far to see it. But in this case, it really goes to show how the "love of money" (a.k.a. greed) can make one look quite stupid and foolish.

One winner was a 20-year-old from Georgia, and one was from Illinois (I hope it was my brother). And the other ticket?

Employees at the Newark Extended Care Facility were certain they had it! In an office pool, they had all picked numbers, given the money to co-worker Angelito Marquez, and entrusted him to buy the tickets. Marquez said all the tickets he purchased were losers.

The he called in sick. Then he called in sick again! Then he called in sick AGAIN!!!!

His fellow co-workers, sure they had been shafted by this now untrustworthy individual, retained a lawyer to insure they would get everything they had coming to them.

The New Jersey Lottery, in a statement Monday, said that Marquez did indeed have a winning ticket, and not just one ticket, but TWO winning tickets..... EACH WORTH ONE DOLLAR!!!!!!!!

"It's a bittersweet day, to say the least," said Anthony H. Guerino, an attorney who represented the 10 workers. "They've always been a spiritual group. I could see them deflate." Of course it's bittersweet for him, he doesn't get paid the bookoo bucs he was looking at. As far as the group being spiritual, he must be referring to Satanic spirituality. Hate, greed, lodging false accusations, and general meaness only apply to "The dark side of the force". And while the workers said they were disappointed, they said they held no bad feelings for Marquez. How big of them. Why should they hold bad feelings against this man. Liars, schemers, and false friends, one and all, they will be fortunate if Marquez doesn't sue THEM for slandering his name for absolutely NO REASON.

Well....there was A reason. He called in sick with the flu for 3 days.

In all of this, it turns out Marquez is the real winner, because now he knows what scummy people he works with and most probably will never trust again. True justice, of course, will have him winning the lottery next month on a ticket that WOULD have included these "friends", had they not shown the true wickedness of their souls. And worse than all this, the apology he so richly deserves has yet to be uttered.

WORLD OF NOLAN
Congrats to Nolan for the very complimentary article printed about him and his show "The World of Nolan" in the St Pete Times. It's nice to see all the effort in making a quality program is getting recognition from the media. I'm sure the fact that Nolan usually says things that are thought provoking has alot to do with the success of the program, hence the heightened awareness. Who can predict where all this will lead to. FOX? CNBC? CNN? You just never know!
